IntroductionHoda Kotb's Today co-host Jenna Bush Hager has confirmed that she is still very much single and 'loo
Hoda Kotb's Today co-host Jenna Bush Hager has confirmed that she is still very much single and 'looking for the one' - just weeks after she gushed about going on a third date with a mystery man.
Last month, Hoda, 59, revealed that she had been on her first date in two years since splitting from her former fiancé, financier Joel Schiffman, but stressed that she doesn't use dating apps because she wants to avoid 'weirdos'.
During Tuesday's episode of Today with Hoda & Jenna, Jenna attempted to clear up some confusion about the identity of a man who had been mistaken for one of Hoda's potential love interests, revealing that he was actually her driver, not her boyfriend.
The confusion arose after Hoda mentioned the man, Eddie, during a conversation about basketball, leading some fans to assume she was referring to a romantic partner.
'Wait, and we should just say... Eddie drives you... people thought he was your boyfriend for a minute,' Jenna, 42, said as Hoda giggled and replied: 'No, no!'

Jenna continued: 'No, they did! And I saw him yesterday and I was like, "What's up Eddie?" and he was like, "Can you believe it?"
'Eddie, you love him?' Jenna added as Hoda responded: 'I love Eddie dearly, I've worked with him for many years and I call him my Eddie,' as Jenna stressed: 'He's your Eddie, but that doesn't mean he is your romantic Eddie.'
Appearing to confirm that Hoda is still single, Jenna then added: 'Any of y'all that thought she had found the one, she's still looking,' as Hoda giggled nervously.
Jenna's comments come just weeks after Hoda exclusively told DailyMail.com that she had a third date lined up with the same man that one of her friends had set her up with.
Speaking at the 2024 Hudson River Park Friends Playground Committee Luncheon in Manhattan on March 8, Hoda admitted that she didn't feel nervous going on dates and chooses not to use dating apps such as Tinder in order to avoid 'weirdos'.
Sharing some dating advice, the giddy mother-of-two said: 'Listen, you've got to find someone to set you up because that's the beginning, but someone you trust enough, even if you've only known them for a few months, so what?
'I think a setup is great because there's at least no weirdos to factor in on a setup. And if someone has recommended someone, there's more investment.'
When asked about online dating apps, Hoda quickly replied: 'I don't do that!' before continuing: 'I feel like there are so many options now and dating is so weird. It's like, "I don't want that, I want that", but I think once once you've been on a couple of dates [with someone] and there's some traction...'
Hoda, who was being honored at the New York City event alongside entrepreneur Maria Dueñas Jacobs, also admitted that she didn't feel nervous going on her two dates.

'You know what's funny, I did not on these dates and I think it's because I'm exactly who I am. I was like, "what am I doing? Who cares? I will eat a steak if I'm hungry!" Be you and if it works, it works, and if it doesn't, at least it's you!'
Hoda left fans wondering if Eddie was her mystery man when she shared a cute selfie of them on Instagram last week.
The TV star and her personal driver were grinning from ear-to-ear in the sweet snap as they stood on the sidewalk together, and Hoda simply captioned it: 'This is my Eddie!'
Hoda's 2.4 million followers immediately jumped to conclusions and commented on the photo as one person wrote: 'Hello Eddie!!! Enjoy every moment with your beautiful Hoda!!!'
'Eddie Is He Your New Boo?' another fan asked, as someone else commented: 'Hoda, I'm very happy for you. Best of luck with your future.'
And a fourth person added: 'he must be amazing if you’re with him! What a lucky, lucky man!'
Hoda was in a relationship with her ex Joel for eight years and the pair were engaged for two before she announced their split on the Today show in January 2022.
